Grass Drags
The Newaygo County Snowmobile Association Snow Chasers is a not for profit club. In order to further the Club's mission and help pay the property mortgage and taxes, we hold two fundraisers each year in the form of snowmobile grass drags. This year will mark our 13th annual. Our 500 foot track features a 100 foot starting clay starting line plus 550 foot shutdown. We race 4 lanes. We offer 12 trophy classes including a kid's 120 class, some payback classes, new in 2005 quad classes and new to 2007 vintage sled classes so there is something for everyone. With a "Pro Tree" style start and finish line, professional announcer, we put on one of the best backyard grass drags around. This year's grass drag dates are: Sunday, September 26, 2010 and Sunday, October 17, 2010.
